Day 2: Chobe National Park

You can look forward to a world-class wildlife experience in Chobe Riverfront, close to Kasane. It is a wonderful place to see big elephants, big cats, hippos and plenty of action as wildlife comes down to drink by the riverbank. In the early morning, we will drive from Victoria Falls and pass through the Botswana border for the immigration formalities and then head to Chobe National Park.

On arrival, you will go on a guided game drive looking for wildlife and learning all about them from your professional guide.

In the afternoon after lunch, you will go on a boat trip on the river in Chobe National Park. The chance of seeing wildlife on the islands and riverbanks is very high as is the likelihood of seeing large numbers of bird species. Elephants, buffalos, giraffes and hippos are common sightings with sable, leopard and numerous antelope also being regulars on guests' checklists.

After the boat trip, we will drive back from Chobe National Park to Victoria Falls town.

Day 3: Tour of the Falls, Guided Game Drive, Boma Dinner & Drum Show

This morning, you will go for a guided tour of the Mighty Falls. It’s a truly awe-inspiring experience – the sight, the sound, the smell; the humbling feeling that here indeed is nature’s supreme masterpiece. No photograph can begin to depict the reality and nothing prepares you for your first sight. En route to the Falls, you will be taken past the ‘Big Tree’ where you will stop and take photos. You will be accompanied through the rainforest by your qualified tour guide and raincoats are provided when needed.

In the afternoon, you will get to go on a guided game drive which is always a safari highlight. It's an especially good way to explore Zambezi National Park and get to know the wildlife that you will see.

This evening we'll be serving you a dinner to remember at the Boma Dinner & Drum Show. You will enjoy a four-course feast of local cuisine, then watch a lively performance of traditional drumming and singing, with plenty of opportunities to get involved.

This morning after having your hearty breakfast, you'll make the journey south to Hwange National Park. Home to the Big Five, Hwange National Park also offers a wide variety of plains, game, and birdlife. You'll swap to open safari vehicles today and make your way into the famed Hwange National Park which is situated in the far west of the country. Hwange lies in the incredible belt of Africa, spreading out into the neighbouring Botswana hence permitting animals. You will enjoy spending more time in Hwange National Park. It's the kind of park that gets better the longer you're here.

There is no better way for you to see Hwange National Park than on the guided game drive we will take you on this afternoon. Get your camera and binoculars ready, sit back in our vehicle, and enjoy looking for the wildlife.

You will be heading down more safari trails in search of animals in Hwange National Park when we take you on a full-day guided game drive. This is the best thing about our safaris, and you will hopefully see many animals. You're going to love exploring Hwange National Park, which is in western Zimbabwe, close to the border with Botswana. There's so much wildlife action for you to look forward to around the waterholes, including incredible numbers of elephants. Zimbabwe's largest national park is home to the Big Five, along with giraffe, zebra, wildebeest, greater kudu, and various other antelope, and there's the possibility of seeing lions hunting elephants. Another reason why Hwange is so important is that it forms part of the five-country Kavango–Zambezi Trans-frontier Conservation Area.

The park received recognition as a UNESCO Natural World Heritage Site in 2003 and includes an intensive protection zone that is home to both black and white rhinoceros.
