After immigration formalities, you will then be driven to Victoria Falls (Zimbabwe). Upon arrival in Victoria Falls you will then go for a guided tour of the Mighty Falls with your qualified tour guide who will give a brief history of the Falls themselves as well as detail other points of interest. It is a truly awe-inspiring experience—the sight, the sound, the smell; the humbling feeling of the Falls. No photograph can begin to depict the reality and nothing prepares you for your first sight. Raincoats are provided when needed. You will then be taken past the Big Tree where you will stop and take photos. Welcome the afternoon with a Lunch Cruise on the Zambezi River where you will savour the panoramic African afternoon and game viewing while enjoying ice-cold beverages, tasty meal and those memorable photo moments.

8-Day Victoria Falls to the Okavango Delta Tour

The Okavango Delta is one of the world’s largest inland water systems. The Okavango Delta lies in the northwest of Botswana. Part of the Great East African Rift Valley system, the Okavango Delta is formed as the Okavango River flows into the Kalahari Desert from the Angolan highlands, creating a unique wetland, a huge oasis that sets the region’s rhythm with its annual pulses. The incredibly varied and rich eco-systems found in and around the Delta attract a stunning variety of wildlife.

Come with us this morning for a guided game drive. We love showing off the landscapes and wildlife of Chobe National Park, and part of the excitement is about never quite knowing which animals are going to appear. After your game drive you will then have your lunch and then get ready to go for your afternoon boat cruise in Chobe National Park. A boat cruise is the ideal opportunity to relax, sit back and see the animals come to you. They are less disturbed by the sound of a boat and more relaxed, as the water is the one place where all the species need to go. Sometimes you can see many species of predators and herbivores at the river together!

On arrival, you will go on a guided game drive looking for wildlife and learning all about them from your professional guide.

In the afternoon after lunch, you will go on a boat trip on the river in Chobe National Park. The chance of seeing wildlife on the islands and riverbanks is very high as is the likelihood of seeing large numbers of bird species. Elephants, buffalos, giraffes and hippos are common sightings with sable, leopard and numerous antelope also being regulars on guests' checklists.

After the boat trip, we will drive back from Chobe National Park to Victoria Falls town.
